Manchester United keen on West Brom keeper?

Polish international Tomasz Kuszczak is reportedly a target for Sir Alex Ferguson

The 24-year-old joined West Brom from Hertha Berlin in July 2004 and after getting his first team chance last season impressed with his displays despite the Baggies' relegation.

Old Trafford boss Ferguson has allowed Tim Howard to go on loan to Everton with a view to a permanent move and although he has promising young goalkeepers such as Ben Foster and Luke Steele on the books, may want a player more ready to challenge Edwin Van der Sar.

If West Brom were to accept a bid for the player, manager Bryan Robson is likely to then move for Liverpool's Chris Kirkland, who was on loan at the Hawthorns last season.
