Richie Jones has been given a new two-year contract by Manchester United Football Club.
The 19-year-old has had an impressive season in the Reds reserve team and featured briefly for the first team in the Carling Cup and FA Cup campaigns.
And the England Under-19 international will now look to push on further after being handed the fresh deal, as he sets his sights on winning a regular spot in the first team squad.
"My new contract gives me the chance to stay at Old Trafford and work with some fantastic coaches and players," said midfielder Jones.
"You can't get any better than learning from Sir Alex Ferguson and the rest of the staff here. Hopefully, I will get a few more run-outs in the first team next season and build on things from there."
